About Us

At People for Digital Fairness, we work to create a more ethical and transparent digital world where individuals, especially vulnerable groups like young people, are protected from manipulative and harmful digital practices. We believe that everyone should have access to a digital environment that is safe, inclusive, and respectful of their rights. Our efforts focus on promoting fairness, transparency, and accountability in the digital space through a combination of consulting, advocacy, education, and research.

Our Story

People for Digital Fairness was founded to address the growing impact of digital technologies on individuals, especially young people. As digital platforms became more integrated into daily life, it became clear that existing laws weren’t keeping up with the rapid growth of Big Tech companies. We saw a rise in manipulative design, excessive data collection, and addictive features, all of which prioritized profit over people’s well-being.

Concerned about the lack of protection for users, particularly young people, we founded People for Digital Fairness to advocate for stronger regulations. Our focus is on holding Big Tech companies accountable through more transparency, better oversight, and laws that protect users from harmful digital practices. We envision a digital world where fairness, ethical design, and respect for personal rights come first.
